A Klaviyo popup targeted only at existing email subscribers who have not opted into SMS converts at 5.09% across four brands in our portfolio, roughly four times a standard on-site signup popup. It is one targeting dropdown that almost nobody turns on.

The layered core audience (engaged OR recent buyer OR recent browser), the provider-scoped exclusion that lifted Gmail opens 7 points at zero revenue cost, and the from-address mistake that bounced 24% of one send's Gmail volume.
Suppression blocks mail until any tool with an API key removes it. Unsubscribing revokes consent, works on never-subscribed profiles, and no suppression call can reverse it. We tested the whole path on a live account: the endpoint, the activity-log quirk, and the one honest caveat about what can still bring a profile back.
For a subscription-heavy brand on Shopify Plus, we replaced Rebuy with cross-sell blocks we built into the native checkout and the theme cart drawer: curated offers, family exclusion, size preselection, one-tap adds. Every add stamps hidden line properties (surface, anchor, slot, size behavior), so the order carries its own attribution. After five and a half weeks: a 3.6% take rate on 113 cross-sold orders, cart and checkout pulling equal weight, size preselection right 96% of the time, and 17% of cross-sold lines switched to a subscription, the number no app dashboard could ever show this store.
Every one-time item in this Plus checkout carries a live "Switch to Subscription & Save $X" card that swaps the variant in place, on the native checkout page. The store has no selling plans and no subscription app, which is why we couldn't get this out of Rebuy even paired with one: billing lives in an external backend and "subscription" is just a variant. One checkout UI extension, one updateCartLine call, real savings from live prices, and attribution stamps that survive the swap. 4 of the first 9 cross-sold orders used it.
Jarvis is the internal AI account manager we run our agency on: a living dossier per client, connected to Asana, Slack, email, call transcripts, and every Klaviyo account. Three real examples from one client: it built the layered campaign audience that cut sends 47% while opens went from 27% to 38%, it caught mislabeled sends and a lapsed test decision, and it produced the scored strategy report, every number pulled live from the API.
Sender reputation is scored per inbox provider, so when Gmail and Yahoo open rates lag on an otherwise healthy account, shrinking your whole send punishes providers that were never the problem. The fix is an exclusion segment scoped to the problem providers: unengaged Gmail and Yahoo profiles sit out every other send while everyone else gets mail as usual. We built it with Claude Code in minutes, straight into the account via the API. Updated with three weeks of results: Gmail opens up 7 points, Microsoft bounces cut 4x, revenue per send higher on treated campaigns.
klaviyo-cli is a free, open-source command line interface for Klaviyo: 32 commands covering campaigns, segments, flows, profiles, events, and metrics. We run it across 12 client accounts almost daily; audience builds that took 10-15 minutes now take about 20 seconds. And deletes are blocked at the transport layer, so an AI agent with a live API key cannot destroy subscriber data.
Sunset flows have a blind spot: the people you suppressed who come back and start browsing again. Klaviyo will never email them unless someone reverses the suppression, and nobody is watching for that. This flow watches for it. One segment, one webhook, and aggressive list cleaning becomes safe.
Design the page in Figma, hand the mock-up to Claude Code inside the Shopify theme repo, and it builds the page as native Liquid blocks: reusing what the theme already has, pulling its own assets via the Figma API, and fixing visual bugs from screenshots. Hands-on time is a few minutes.
